Crew: Toronto to Montreal

What is Crew?

• The Crew are volunteers, travelling with the cyclists in vehicles for the six days of the Rally - August 3rd-8th, 2025.

• They support the riders, making everyone’s Bike Rally experience as seamless as possible.

• You can join the Nutrition, Rustler, Wellness or Road Support Crews.

How do I register?

• Registration is free! Click here to Register.

• Got questions about Crew or the registration process? Contact Jamieson Edward (him/he) at jedward@pwatoronto.org.

How much money do I raise?

• There is no fundraising minimum for Crew, however, all Crew are encouraged to fundraise as much as they can.

• Crew who raise $1000 and above are awarded Top Fundraiser status!

Nutrition Crew

• Nutrition is an incredibly important element of the Bike Rally, and our Nutrition Crew take it very seriously.

• This Crew works closely with the caterers to make sure that all participants are given three balanced meals a days, as well as yummy and healthy snacks in between.

Rustler Crew

  • The Rustlers are the “muscle” of the Bike Rally! This team of volunteers work together to load and unload bins (containing everyone’s gear) on and off several 16-foot cube trucks daily—transporting them from campsite to campsite over six days—Toronto to Montreal.

  • Can’t commit to six days? You're in luck! The Rustlers are the only team who require crew members to support the 1-Day Ride by transporting the 1-Day bicycles back to Toronto at the end of the first day.

Wellness Crew

• The Wellness Crew is composed of students, local RMTs, as well as other medical professionals.

• The Wellness Crew assists participants on breaks and at the end of the day who are feeling sore, achy, crampy, or who may be dealing with an injury.

• The Wellness Crew are also our first-responders on the road for any non-emergency situation which cyclists may find themselves in.

Road Support Crew

• Our Road Support Crew heads out every morning before the Riders to mark the route so that everyone knows their way to the next campsite, they also check the route for any obstacles or changes, in case we need a rerouting.

• The Road Support Crew also drives up and down the route to make sure all the Riders are safe or in need of assistance, they also make sure that everyone is following the rules of the road and rules of the rally.
