Team Selection is Almost Here…

Team Self-Selection will open Saturday, February 4, 2023.

Beginning February 4th and ending February 12th at midnight, all registered Riders, regardless of event chosen (1-, 3- or 6-Day Ride) have an opportunity to indicate their preferred teams by completing an online survey form.

Team self-selection is only suggested if there is a specific team that you hope to be part of. If you don't self-select a team, you will be assigned to one. Everyone is part of a team and benefits from full support and the opportunity to enjoy the team experience.

Only riders who registered by February 4th or before will be able to participate in this round of Team Assignment.

Team Self-Selection Steps

Similar to last year, here's how it will work:

1. Check out our Team Captain bios to decide your top three teams you'd like to join.

2. Once the survey form is live (URL pending) go to the form and rank your first, second and third team choices. (No team preference is also an option).

3. You will also have the option to request to be placed on the same team as ONE other Rider, e.g., a personal friend, a partner, a family member. Each of the Riders in that pair must indicate the other's name on their form and both Riders should choose the same Team ranking. While we cannot guarantee this Rider Pairing, we will do our best to honour all requests while still aiming to balance all the teams.

4. You will have until midnight February 12th to complete the form.

5. Bike Rally leadership will then review all the forms and do their best to place everyone with their first choice. This can't be guaranteed. Depending on the level of demand for each team, we may place you on your second or third choice team.
