It doesn’t matter how experienced a rider you are. At some point you will get a flat tire. And if you don’t know how to fix a flat, it’s a complete game changer, leaving you at the mercy of riders or drivers around you or forcing you make a desperate phone call. Don’t let a flat ruin your ride. Knowing how to change a flat and the tools you’ll need will give you the confidence that you won’t ever be stranded. Come out and learn how. Bring your bike and tools for this hands-on seminar.

The First Year Orientation and Flat Fix Seminars will be run twice each, at 10:45 and 12:30, and the Nutrition Seminar at 2pm. This will also be an opportunity for riders to try on the jerseys to make sure you get the sizing right. This all goes down at PWA at 200 Gerrard Street East on Saturday, April 14.

Endurance training is a vital aspect of your Bike Rally preparation, as well as a great way to stay active. But sometimes it can cause muscular imbalances that may lead to aches and pains, or worse, a full-blown injury. During this interactive session, Dr. Donald Littlewood will speak to the common issues he’s treated on the Bike Rally, and offer some great suggestions for injury prevention and conditioning.
Proactive injury prevention is a commonly overlooked aspect of training, and it applies equally to first-time participants and veterans. Be sure to attend this valuable seminar as a way to support and enhance your Bike Rally training!
Dr. Donald is a chiropractor and acupuncturist practicing in downtown Toronto. He has been a Bike Rally Wellness Crew volunteer twice (2016 and 2017), the first time as a member of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College Team (CMCC) providing care to riders and crew.
Long-time Bike Rally participant and supporter Harvey Malinsky pulls this incredible event together each year. This party/fundraiser is the best way to celebrate the half-way mark of the Rally, and generate more much-needed funds for HIV/AIDS.
Join us for this annual event, hosted by the ever-so-talented Morgan James and starring the super sassy Lady Anya Face and the legendary Michelle Ross.
If you’re a first year Rider to the Friends For Life Bike Rally, this seminar is for you. Come learn about the work done by PWA, the support available to you as a new Rider, and the logistics to start thinking about for the Ride.
