Endurance training is a vital aspect of your Bike Rally preparation, as well as a great way to stay active. But sometimes it can cause muscular imbalances that may lead to aches and pains, or worse, a full-blown injury. During this interactive session, Dr. Donald Littlewood will speak to the common issues he’s treated on the Bike Rally, and offer some great suggestions for injury prevention and conditioning.

Proactive injury prevention is a commonly overlooked aspect of training, and it applies equally to first-time participants and veterans. Be sure to attend this valuable seminar as a way to support and enhance your Bike Rally training!

Dr. Donald is a chiropractor and acupuncturist practicing in downtown Toronto. He has been a Bike Rally Wellness Crew volunteer twice (2016 and 2017), the first time as a member of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College Team (CMCC) providing care to riders and crew.

Jun 4 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Attention all Bike Rally Crew, 1-Day and 6-Day Riders! Come to The 519 on June 4th and learn all about this year’s 20th Anniversary Friends for Life Bike Rally – things like our new Departure location, arrival plans for Port Hope, what will be on offer in Kingston, new Montreal accommodations, and much, much more.
You’ll be able to complete any outstanding paperwork, meet your Team Leads and team mates (if you haven’t yet), pose questions to Steering Committee members, and hear directly from a PWA speaker about how your commitment and hard work is making a huge difference in the lives of so many.
Additionally, from 8:30PM we’ll be at The Lodge at O’Grady’s (518 Church Street at Maitland) for a post-meeting social.
